There are two types of artificial nails.

1) Nail Tips 2) Acrylic Nails.

A) Nail Tips –

Equipment : 1) Manicure set.

2) Various types and sizes of nail tips to match the client’s nails.

3) Acetone free polish remover. Because artificial nails are made of plastic and dissolve in acetone.

4) Emery board.

5) Buffer or Flat Emery Board.

6) For glue use five second glue as this glue dries quickly. While applying this glue, it should be applied only where it is needed as it is very difficult to remove once applied.

How to Apply Nail tips:-

1) Do manicure before applying polish.

2) Hands should be clean and completely dry.

3) The client’s nail tips should be brushed with a fat buffer/nail file.

4) Nails should be cut in half

5) Apply blue on the inside of the nail tips and stick it on the nails.

6) Apply glue to the area between the original nail and the nail tips.

7) Cuticle should be cleaned.

8) Apply base coat and nail polish. Skillfully applied nail polish makes these nails look very natural.

9) While applying nail tips, consider the natural angle of the nails and the direction of the nails.

How to remove Nail Tips ?

Soak nails or fingertips in nail polish remover and wait until the nail tips loosen. One side of the nail should gently pick up the nailitis. Do not pull too hard while removing the nail tips. Because this can damage the natural nail.

B) Acrylic Nails –

Acrylic nails are made by the operator. It requires a lot of practice and skill. The kit consists of a white/transparent/pink colored powder with various ingredients and a liquid used to make a paste. It takes a lot of time to make these nails. It takes 1.25 to 3 hours to do a client’s nails.

8) Nail file, buffer, emery board, acrylic nails are very hard. And filing becomes very difficult. An electric nail filer should preferably be used for this.

9) Tissue paper

10) Burfing Oil

11) Non-acetone polish remover

Action :-

1) Get a manicure first.

2) Apply the nail form under the free part of the nail.

3) Primer should be applied on the original nails, this makes the nails brittle and easy to apply acrylic on it.

4) Dip the brush into the catalyst and lightly dip the brush into the powder. Put the mixture that comes with the brush on the nails and press it.

5) Repeat this process till the complete nail is formed.

6) Forms on new nail plate.

7) Dip the brush in the catalyst each time. And clean with paper towel/tissue paper.

8) If the nails become hard, remove the nail form from under the nails and file the nails. Buffing oil should be used for final polish.

9) Clean the oil and acrylic material by buffing with acetone free polish remover.

10) Apply base coat and apply nail paint.

How to remove acrylic nails ?

Artificial nails should never be pulled off with force. Soak these nails in acetone polish remover. These nails loosen in acetone and can be easily removed.

Artificial Nails –

Adhusive should be applied first while applying these nails and should not be applied in the middle of the nails. Adhursive should sand for 2 minutes. Then these nails should be pressed on the natural nails and the excess adhesive should be removed with adhesive remover. Apply nail polish after drying these nails.

Precautions to be taken –

1) Artificial nails should not be applied if the nails are infected or injured

2) Artificial nail should not be kept on the nail for more than 2 weeks. Because the growth of natural nails is likely to stop.

3) As artificial nail adhesive is flammable, be careful from cigarettes, matches and lighters.

4) Do not wash your hands in water for a long time while applying artificial nails.

To make hands and feet look attractive –

1) If your hands are thin, massage them regularly with sesame oil. It is very beneficial.

2) To soften rough hands, soak linseed flour in milk for 5 minutes and apply it on the rough areas and keep it for 15 minutes and then wash it off, it makes the hands clean and soft.

3) Mix 1 spoon of tomato juice + 1 spoon of lemon juice + 1 spoon of milk and apply on the hands to lighten the hands. Wash off after 15 minutes to help change the color of the hands.
