Cleansing
Cleansing means cleaning the face. Usually uses soap or gram flour to clean the face or body. But women whose skin is more oily than reasonable should use any medicated soap. Women with oily skin should wash their face at least two or three times. Most of the facial disorders of such women can disappear if only the skin is kept clean and dry. Also the thin layer of liquid that flows over the face while cleansing the skin. That also keeps the vapor in the skin. Helps maintain skin softness. It is very useful.
Although soap cleans the face, cleansers are preferred when applying makeup. If the skin of the face is not cleaned properly and make-up is applied on it, the face is harmed. We always clean our face with warm water and soap. Therefore, the upper surface of the face becomes dull. But the pores of the skin remain unhygienic.
Moisturization of the skin from the swollen pores is not done properly and if external dirt also gets stuck in it, pimples, pustules etc. will appear on the skin. occur. Hence, milk, curd, and psyllium have been used since ancient times to keep the skin clean. Cleansers created today are meant to complement the skin’s natural oils. And they remove the dirt from the pores of the skin quickly.
Women who have dry skin should use a cleansing cream while cleansing the skin. And women who have oily skin should use cleansing milk. As a woman ages, wrinkles also increase. Even if the wrinkles cannot be removed at all, the amount of wrinkles can be reduced if the face is kept clean and massaged regularly. While massaging, the hand should move like an iron on the face. So there is a scientific method behind it.

How to Cleanse :-
Keep a cotton ball, tissue paper or a piece of thin cloth nearby before cleansing. Clinging should be done every night before going to bed while removing makeup or before facial. The first thing to do with such a cleansing is to clean the face thoroughly. For this, a little cleansing cream should be applied gently on the face and should not be rubbed or massaged too forcefully.
After applying the cream, take a square piece of cotton and clean the skin with three circular sponges on each line from the base of the neck upwards. Clean the chin after the neck. For this, from one end of the ear to the other end, the chin should be cleaned from below and above.
Then the smile lines on both sides of the nose from the tip of the face should be wiped from the bottom upwards and the three lines on the cheeks towards the arms should be cleaned. Lightly rub the cream with your finger in the direction of the eyebrows in three circular motions on each line. While rubbing the cream on the forehead, the fingers should rub upwards.
This act of cleaning the face by applying cream is very important in terms of cosmetics. Due to this, dust, sweat and previous make-up layer on the skin is wiped off. Not only this, the dirt that has entered through the pores is cleared and the skin is cleansed from the inside out. Young girls and middle-aged women should sleep after cleaning the skin like this every night. Therefore, a light massage of the neck and face is very useful in maintaining youth.
Types of Cleansing :-
1) Cleansing Milk – It is used for oily skin, it removes dirt, dust from the face and makes the skin clean. Companies like Lakme, Ayur, Bytic, Aroma, Saloni, Indrayani etc. have made cleansing milk in the market.
2) Deep Cleansing Milk – It cleanses deep into the skin. It is used for dry skin as well as oily skin.
3) Cleansing Cream :- This is available in the form of a cream. Applying this on the skin cleans the skin. This cream is useful for dry skin.
4) Lemon Cleansing Milk :- Dead skin cells and dust etc. Suitable for normal to oily skin for deep exfoliation.

Steaming –
During the bath, splashing very hot water on the face and other parts of the body for five to ten minutes continuously will open all the pores of the skin. Muscles relax. Dullness disappears and the whole body feels happy and rejuvenated.
This is exactly the purpose behind steaming before a facial. For those with oily skin, steaming can reduce excess sebum production. Steaming is used to loosen the sebum that accumulates in the skin pores so that the black and white seed-like cysts that cling to the pores are easily removed.
Act of steaming –
Take very boiling water in the hub. Fold a Turkish towel in it and soak it, preferably hold both ends of the towel in your hands, soak only the middle part, squeeze it tightly and quickly press it on your face. Apply two to three times on the neck, forehead, and cheeks and keep it there for a few seconds so that the amount of heat received by the skin remains the same.
